Utilizing an intuitive blend of mediums and techniques, Shara Hughes has become known for her surreal, symbolic and mystical works. Shara held a solo exhibition inside the Gallery Met at the 2017 Whitney Biennial and is represented by the prestigious Uffner Gallery in New York City. During her Liquitex Cadmium-Free Research Residency, Shara created a series of large-scale imaginary landscapes.
