Love is at the heart of Brooklyn-based John Westbay’s art. Owner of a successful barbershop in Brooklyn for five years, once he started painting, John sold his business, quit his job and has never looked back.

The artist has made a name for himself with his LOVE themed art, filled with signature three-dimensional hearts with cartoon eyes. "Love is always what inspires me directly or indirectly. Being on the train itself in New York City, the subway is a rainbow. Different colors, different shapes, sometimes they seem happy, sometimes they seem a little sad, there’s a tear drop coming out. That’s just straight reality. They’re a reflection of myself and everybody I see around me.”
