We don't recommend adding water to Liquitex Basics Acrylic Fluid. Depending on the paint you're using, you can use Mediums such as the Professional Flow-Aid Additive to dramatically increase the flow of your color or mediums.
Liquitex Basics Acrylic Fluid isn't ideal for Pen & Ink; choose Liquitex Professional Acrylic Ink.

Separation in Liquitex Basics Acrylic Fluid is normal - acrylics do separate when in the bottle. Shake well before use.
